The Reverend Doctor David Smazik joined the staff as Senior Pastor in November, 2010. He moved to New Jersey after having served the Westminster Presbyterian Church in Rockford, Illinois for 17 years. He had also been pastor of the Presbyterian Church of Fulton, Illinois and served as Executive Director of a camp/conference facility in Pennsylvania. Throughout his ministry, he developed and participated in various para-church organizations in the communities in which he lived and served on committees at both the presbytery and synod levels. While on a sabbatical from his work in Rockford, he co-authored a book on personal effectiveness, Life Momentum. Pastor Smazik graduated with a BA in religion/psychology from Hope College, Holland, Michigan. He has his Master of Divinity from the University of Dubuque Theological Seminary. He also received a Masters of Science in Counseling Psychology and a Doctorate of Ministry in Church Revitalization. David and his wife, Ann, have two children. Their son, Matthew, and his wife, Alison, live in the Chicago area. Their daughter, Jennie, lives and works in Wisconsin.

The Reverend Sarah Green joined PCM as Associate Pastor for Congregational Life and Mission in 2015. She provides pastoral care, plans and leads mission programs, and works with the Deacons, Stephen Ministry, the Green Faith Initiative, and the Community & Membership and Outreach Committees. Prior to joining PCM, Sarah served as an interfaith healthcare chaplain. She received her BA in English from Davidson College and her Masters of Divinity from Claremont School of Theology. She completed Clinical Pastoral Education training at Children’s Hospital-Los Angeles and New York Presbyterian Hospital-Columbia Medical Center. Sarah is fluent in Spanish and always on the look-out for new conversation partners to keep the rust at bay.

Alexandra was installed as Director of Christian Education in August 2010. She oversees children's and adult education programs, including Church School and Midweek for ages K-5. Previously at PCM, she volunteered as a teacher and served as Interim Coordinator of Children's Ministries. Alexandra graduated from Lafayette College with a BA in government and law. She has served on the board of Family Services of Morris County and is a member of the Junior League of Morristown. She and her husband, David, have three children who are all active in the church.

Angela Rines joined the staff in March of 2010. As Director of Youth and Young Adult Ministry, she leads and oversees ministry to middle and high school students, college students, and the young adults. In 2014, Angela received a Certificate in Youth and Theology from the Princeton Institute for Youth Ministry. She graduated from Sioux Falls Seminary in 2008 with a Master of Divinity and has a degree in Creative and Business Writing from the University of Wisconsin of River Falls. Angela believes that you can never travel to too many places, read too many books, spend too much time with the people you love, laugh too much, or take too many photos. She tries her best to live by these three phrases: Love God, Love Others, Serve the World.

Dan Keoppel is a life-long Presbyterian. Dan has served on Session at First Presbyterian Church of Boonton five times focusing on Evangelism, Fellowship, Christian Ed and Stewardship. He has lead youth group fellowships and continues to teach middle school and confirmation classes. He has served on the Presbytery Committee for Preparation for Ministry and served in Kenya with the Presbytery Mission program. Professionally, Dan is an adviser and consultant to technology startups and venture capital firms. He is an independent board director for Qualia Media. He has spent the majority of his career in the telecommunications industry. Dan has an undergraduate degree in psychology from Rutgers and a MBA from Fairleigh Dickinson. Dan and his wife Donna live in Montville, NJ. They have 6 children, although the number of children in the household may vary as they are also resource (foster) parents.

Jeanne Mueller has been the director of the PCM Nursery School since August 2015. She was a teacher at the school for ten years and was a member of the Advisory Board. The Nursery School has ten staff members teaching six classes that provide an outstanding early childhood experience for 80 children. Jeanne has two children, a daughter at Butler University and a son at Morristown High School. Both children attended the Nursery School. Jeanne and her staff help to continue the level of excellence that has been established at the school.

Jenny Ayanian became the PCM Business Administrator in June 2014. Jenny has degrees in Accounting and Computer Information Systems from Manhattan College and an MBA in Human Resources from Villanova. She took post-grad courses in financial accounting and computer programs. She has a variety of experience in banking, sales, management and administration. Jenny has been a church member at PCM for a number of years, and has been active in the church, along with her children, Adam, Cassie and Veronica. She lives in Morristown with her three children.

Julie Hess joined the church staff in 2015. She shares a part time Administrative Assistant position with Kristin Stuek. On Wednesdays, Julie can be found in the church office editing Tower Tidings, preparing Session materials and providing general office support. Julie is also employed by the Community Soup Kitchen as a Community Educator and Healthy Choices Market Coordinator. She graduated from the University of Delaware with a BS in Design. Julie and her husband, Steve, joined PCM in 1993. They have two daughters. The family is actively involved in many aspects of church life.

Julie Ramseyer oversees the musical education of our preschool, elementary and junior high members. As the Director of Children's Music, she conducts three choirs, facilitates the music within the Christian Education curriculum, produces elementary and junior high musicals, and leads 4 year-olds in a weekly session called JAM! Not only does she sing in our adult choir, she leads the Recorder Consort and is a head teacher in our Nursery school. Julie holds a Bachelor of Music Education from the University of Michigan.

Kristo Pango joined the church staff as sexton at the Parish House in October 2013. He maintains the buildings and grounds and provides support at events and services. Kristo and his family came to the U.S. from Albania in 2008. He and his wife Argjiro have three children. In Albania, Kristo was a pastor at the Way of Hope Evangelical Baptist Church. He came to witness to fellow Albanians who now live in the the New York and New Jersey area. He feels that working as a sexton at our church, in a Christian environment, will help him in his mission to reach out to others and plant churches in Albanian communities.

Matthew Webb is a conductor, pianist, and vocal coach in the metropolitan New York City area. He is the Director of Music at The Presbyterian Church in Morristown, where he serves as Church Organist and directs adult and high school vocal and instrumental ensembles. Matt holds undergraduate degrees in music and philosophy from Wake Forest University, and the Master of Music and Doctor of Musical Arts degrees in Choral Conducting from the University of North Carolina (Greensboro). He has worked in Presbyterian, Episcopal, and United Methodist congregations, where he built choral and instrumental programs for children, youth and adults. Matt has served on the faculties of Drew University (NJ), Elon University (NC), UNC Greensboro, the UNC School of the Arts, and the Canterbury School. Matt has worked extensively as a collaborative pianist and choral conductor, performing at Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall and throughout the US and Europe. He is a member of the American Choral Director’s Association, the Royal School of Church Music, the Presbyterian Association of Musicians, and is Dean of the Metro NJ Chapter of the American Guild of Organists.

Sarah Galo is excited to join The Presbyterian Church of Morristown as an Administrative Assistant. A graduate of Ramapo College of NJ with a degree in Literature and Human Rights, she has worked in a variety of industries, but enjoys working in places of worship most. Most recently, Sarah worked at Temple Emanu-El in Closter, NJ, followed by a role with the Boy Scouts of America. She hopes to enter Drew University in Spring 2018 to pursue a graduate degree in Religious Studies. Sarah recently moved to Parsippany.
