Clothing Bank Presbyterian Women operates a clothing bank in the basement of the Parish House. In-season clothing in good condition is collected and distributed to people who visit the clothing bank on Tuesday mornings.
GreenFaith As good stewards of the earth, PCM works with Sustainable Morristown to make our community more economically sound, environmentally aware and sustainable. We are in the process of becoming a GreenFaith church.
Morris Afterschool Program (MAP) PCM provides weekly tutoring for 20 Morris School District 1st and 2nd grade students. From 3:30-6:00pm, students enjoy a snack, activity, tutoring and a hot, family-style dinner.
Operation Love Every year, PCM participates in Operation Love hosted by the Church of God in Christ. Volunteers donate, wrap and deliver boxes of food, fruit, clothing, toys and personal items to help Morris County families and senior citizens celebrate Christmas.
Peace and Justice Committee This group is charged with finding ways for our church to express its faith through social justice issues locally, nationally and internationally. They support immigrants within our community through Pathways to Work and the Morris Area Committee to Reduce Gun Violence.
Worship at Spring Hills Nursing Home In partnership with other local churches, volunteers from PCM participate in a ministry of worship, music and fellowship Sunday mornings at this local rehab/long-term care facility.
Military Ministry This ministry offers care and support to soldiers serving overseas and those who have returned home to New Jersey. One way you can help is to write a supportive, caring letter to "Dear Soldier".
Assistance for Families In Newark Food, clothing, toys and money are donated to families in Newark at Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter. Children's clothes, toys and locally donated bread are delivered regularly to families, battered women, a homeless shelter and a neighborhood church.
