Interfaith Food Pantry

Our church supports the Interfaith Food Pantry by collecting non-perishable food items year-round. Containers are located at each of the entrances to the church and outside the kitchen of the Parish House. The next time you are shopping and see a really good sale or coupons for items you don't use, think of people struggling to put food on their tables. Pick up a few items, bring them to PCM, and share with those who have less.

The greatest need is for easy-to-prepare foods, such as cold and instant hot cereals; canned soup (low-sodium), meats and fish; and one-dish meals like macaroni and cheese and Hamburger Helper. Other items that are greatly appreciated include canned fruits, juices and vegetables (low-sodium,, no sugar added); peanut butter and jelly; crackers and cookies; coffee, tea and Parmalat; and diapers, formula and baby foods.  Contact: Beverly

Harvest Food Collection

Thanksgiving is a time when we reflect on our blessings and share our good fortune with others. Our Harvest Food Collection helps to stock the shelves of the Interfaith Food Pantry as well as the Salvation Army and the Market Street Mission. To contribute, please bring non-perishable food items to the church on Sundays in November. On Thanksgiving Festival Sunday (Sunday before Thanksgiving), items are collected, brought forth to the Chancel by our youth for a blessing and delivered to the Food Pantry. We also accept monetary donations.

May Food Drive

With the arrival of spring, Interfaith Food Pantry clients' needs remain but donations fall off. To help stock their shelves for the summer, PCM holds an annual food drive on the third Sunday in May. Of course, items can be brought to the church or Parish House anytime, but please make an extra effort on May Food Drive Sunday. Monetary donations are also accepted.
