Interfaith Food Pantry
Our church supports the Interfaith Food Pantry by collecting non-perishable food items year-round. Containers are located at each of the entrances to the church and outside the kitchen of the Parish House. The next time you are shopping and see a really good sale or coupons for items you don't use, think of people struggling to put food on their tables. Pick up a few items, bring them to PCM, and share with those who have less.
The greatest need is for easy-to-prepare foods, such as cold and instant hot cereals; canned soup (low-sodium), meats and fish; and one-dish meals like macaroni and cheese and Hamburger Helper. Other items that are greatly appreciated include canned fruits, juices and vegetables (low-sodium,, no sugar added); peanut butter and jelly; crackers and cookies; coffee, tea and Parmalat; and diapers, formula and baby foods.
