Electronic Waste Recycling

Do you have annoying, unwanted,
non-working electronic “stuff” at home?

printers……fax machines……copy machines……scanners……phones…… computers……computer accessories (monitors, speakers, wires, keyboards, cords)...... VCR/DVD/CD/cassette players……radios……vacuums (empty of dirt/bags)…… SMALL(!) kitchen appliances (toasters, coffee makers, blenders, can openers)

Let PCM’s Green Faith Initiative help you recycle!
This group, which works behind the scenes with all of PCM’s committees to hardwire our efforts in becoming a more eco-conscious faith community, is sponsoring a:

Free Electronic Waste (e-waste) Recycling Event
Drive-Through/Drop-Off

Sunday, April 24
Parking lot of The Presbyterian Church in Morristown (57 East Park Place)
8:30am-10am and 11am-12 Noon

1. Load unwanted items in your vehicle. (Please NO items containing Freon.)
2. Transport them to church on Sunday either between or after worship services.
3. Drive behind the church to the Howard House end of the parking area.
4. Someone will be waiting to help you unload your items.
5. Your unwanted items will then be transported to GreenVision Inc. to be disassembled and recycled, reused or disposed of properly.

The Impact?

  • You will have helped others - GreenVision Inc.® is organized to give students and adults with developmental disabilities the opportunity to learn and work in real life job situations.
  • You will have helped the earth - by providing reusable/recyclable resources: glass, copper, aluminum, plastics, ferrous metals (steel, iron, nickel) and precious metals (gold, silver, palladium); and by preventing toxic materials from entering landfills or being incinerated: all those listed above plus PVC plastics and heavy metals, such as lead.
  • You will have helped yourself – Imagine all the empty spaces you will have re-created at home!
