PCM Aids in Recovery of Point Pleasant Beach

Soon after Hurricane Sandy hit the Jersey shore in the fall of 2012, the PCM Sandy Relief task force visited Point Pleasant and found a need for long-term recovery efforts in that community. PCM gave a $5000 grant toward the construction and furnishing of the Point Pleasant Presbyterian Church Volunteer Village, and in 2013 and 2014, teams of adults and youth spent a week assisting in the rehabilitation of primary homes, which was an amazing experience for all.
