We rehearse Tuesdays from 7:30-9:00pm and/or Sundays from 8:45-9:25am in the choir room of the Church on the Green. Participants may rehearse either day or both. All members rehearse on Sundays at 9:25am if singing in 10am worship. This choir leads services throughout the year and prepares two major works with orchestra.

Registration

Pre-School Music Children ages 2-5 years enjoy music as part of their Sunday School class. We learn children's songs and hymns to share at worship services.
JAM  JAM (Joy and Music) - Pre-kindergarten four and five-year-olds meet Thursdays from 1-1:30pm for an introduction to music and movement.
Bel Melodia Singers and Ringers (Grades K-2)

This is our youngest formal choir, which rehearses during the Midweek program on Wednesday afternoons from 4:30-5:05pm in the Parish House. We experience music through the use of games, movement, voices and instruments. We work on pitch matching, rhythmic concepts, basic service music and simple hymns. But most of all, we have fun. We lead worship on two-three Sundays, present a musical in February and participate in the Collage Concert.

Bel Canto Singers and Ringers (Grades 3-5)

This choir continues the groundwork laid in Bel Melodia. We learn the fundamentals of voice production, proper breathing and vocal techniques. The children begin to read music, both vocal and handbell. We continue to improve their rhythmic skills, coordination and teamwork. We begin the development of worship leadership, and of course, have fun. This choir rehearses during the Midweek program on Wednesdays from 5:05-6:00pm in the Parish House. We lead worship on two-three Sundays, present a musical in February and participate in the Collage Concert.

Tower Ringers and Singers
(Grades 6-8)

This middle school choir leads worship on 2-3 Sundays throughout the year, and joins all church choirs on Easter, Thanksgiving Festival Sunday and the spring Collage Concert. Tower participates in the family service on Christmas Eve and presents a Christmas musical at the church-wide Carol Sing. This group learns to navigate the changing voice when singing. They are exposed to advanced handbell techniques, and by year-end, are musically able to join the Ringers-on-the-Green, the next step up. This choir rehearses as part of the Midweek program on Wednesdays from 6:05-7:00pm in the Parish House.

Chancel Choir (age 14 and older)

High school students sing with the Chancel Choir (see Adult music).

the-Green (ROGS)
