Replay: The Longest Night Service

During this season of Advent, in every aspect of our worship and programming, we are contemplating the concept of “A Weary World Rejoices.” There is undoubtedly much to rejoice about: we are gifted with wonderful family and friends, we have fun and joyful programs we can participate in, and most of us are blessed with homes and delicious food to eat. Other times, each of us has moments where we are feeling more weary than joyful. We are called to name these feelings, especially when we are going through a difficult season of life, whether because of the loss of loved one or job, lack of direction, difficult family relationships, mental illness, or at a loss about what to do to help a hurting world.

That is what our Longest Night service is all about.

Diversity Coalition Sponsors Interfaith Event Focused on Finding Peace

On November 17, the Diversity Coalition of Morris County sponsored a remarkable interfaith event hosted by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The theme of the event, “Finding Peace Personally and in the Community,” aimed to foster harmony and understanding among different faiths, bringing together diverse religious communities in a spirit of unity and mutual respect.
