Doughnuts and Theology

SUNDAYS AT 9:00 AM | Church on the Green and Online

Doughnuts and Theology is one of our weekly adult education offerings, occurring most Sundays during the academic year. Themes range from worship, to immigration and the Church, to intergenerational Bible study, to visual arts and spirituality. Per the title, we will have doughnuts at EVERY gathering, come rain or come shine!

Bible Text Study

Wednesdays at 6:30 pm | Parish House

Join Reverend Daniel or Reverend Audrey for a weekly discussion group on the scripture passages for the upcoming Sunday. It’ll be a chance to dive deep into our Bible readings and explore together how God may still be speaking to us through the words of scripture.

Women's Bible Study

Thursdays at 11:15 am | Parish House

A time for women interested in learning more about the bible stories that they grew up with and some that they are not familiar with. We choose books that help our faith to grow and inspire thoughtful conversations.

Faith on Film

Monthly at 4:00 pm | Parish House

Join us as we explore how faith is represented in films, followed by pizza and discussion in Sheffield Hall!

ChaNCel Choir | HIGH SCHOOL and up

A choir open to high school students and adults who seek to make excellent music in a safe space for all people. The Chancel Choir rehearses Wednesdays from 7:30 – 9:00 pm and Sundays from 9:00 – 9:40 am in the Sanctuary of the Church on the Green (57 E. Park Place). This choir leads services throughout the year and prepares major works with an orchestra.

Chancel Ringers | Ages 18 and up

An adult handbell ensemble, ringing intermediate and advanced music, that rehearses on Wednesdays from 6:30 – 7:15 pm in the Choir Room at the Church on the Green (57 E Park Place). This group rings during services about five times per year and on Christmas Eve.

Jazz Vespers

Experience a new expression of worship with a musical style that transcends generations. Jazz is a uniquely American musical expression which mirrors many of the dimensions in our lives: authenticity, movement, dissonance, and improvisation. Led by the Steve Hess Trio.

Music programs are led by Dr. Matt Webb, Director of Music.
