Morris County Hiking Group

Dust off your hiking boots and grab your water bottle to join our monthly hiking group! All hikes are easy to execute and need no experience – just a love of the outdoors. This is a great activity for families! Please register below so that we can provide you any updated information or status of the hike in case of inclement weather.

Natirar Park Trail, 2 Main Street, Peapack-Gladstone, NJ.

We will meet up at the parking lot! This is a scenic 2.8 mile loop trail, mostly flat, past meadows, natural creek, wildflowers, beautiful birds, and historic farmland. The path is wide over light gravel or grassy clover, with one moderate uphill section at the one mile point. This is a reasonably easy hike for all ages, including families with young children. There are multiple park benches along the way to rest, and picnic tables near the parking area for those wishing to have lunch afterwards. Another lunch option for a small group of 10 is the Butler’s Pantry located at the Far Hills Train Station nearby.
