frequently asked questions
We love meeting new people! Below, find information on what to expect for your first visit. If you have any additional questions, please contact the office and we will make sure they get to the right person!
We are so excited to meet you! We love having guests and love seeing new faces. Greeters will be standing by the door to hand you a bulletin. They can answer any questions you have about our church and worship service. We hope you’ll also stay for coffee afterwards and meet some of our members!
We recommend arriving 10 minutes prior to service to give yourself enough time to park in Morristown and get settled in.
Street parking is free in Morristown on Sundays. Find PCM parking around the Morristown Green (S. Park Place, N. Park Place, or W. Park Place), along South Street, or Speedwell Ave. Limited special-needs parking is found behind the Church. More free parking is available at the Parish House (65 South Street). You can also find paid parking in our neighboring parking garage: Headquarters Plaza Garage at 52 Headquarters Plaza.
10:00 am Service – The Sanctuary has two entrances on E. Park Place. One is on the left side, next to the Chapel, and another is on the right side, next to Howard House.
8:00 am Service – The Chapel has an entrance right on E. Park Place (front of the building).
Absolutely! The accessible entrance can be found, along with parking, at the rear of the Church.
Children are always welcome to stay in worship, but for those with infants through Grade K, we do offer childcare in the kids’ room off of the Sanctuary during our 10:00 am worship service. Our childcare is always attended by an adult caregiver and sometimes an additional teenage helper. All volunteers have background checks and clearances as required by New Jersey state law and have participated in a Child Protection Training provided by PCM. You must sign your child in and out, and someone will come get you if your child needs you. Our greeters or ushers will be glad to take you to the room if you wish someone to show you the way!
Anyone and everyone! We love meeting new people and have a congregation of diverse backgrounds and interests.
Dress however you feel most comfortable. We have members who dress up a bit and members who wear jeans. Whatever works best for you!
Our worship is fairly traditional, in that it follows a standard Reformed liturgy, but people will tell you it doesn’t feel stuffy or formal. In addition to our choir, we often have special guest musicians and soloists to help lead our worship. We love to sing and have a great variety of classic hymns and newer songs.
Yes! We have a wonderful community that worships online every Sunday at 10:00 am. You can find more information here.
