frequently asked questions

We love meeting new people! Below, find information on what to expect for your first visit. If you have any additional questions, please contact the office and we will make sure they get to the right person!

We are so excited to meet you! We love having guests and love seeing new faces. Greeters will be standing by the door to hand you a bulletin. They can answer any questions you have about our church and worship service. We hope you’ll also stay for coffee afterwards and meet some of our members!

We recommend arriving 10 minutes prior to service to give yourself enough time to park in Morristown and get settled in.

Street parking is free in Morristown on Sundays. Find PCM parking around the Morristown Green (S. Park Place, N. Park Place, or W. Park Place), along South Street, or Speedwell Ave. Limited special-needs parking is found behind the Church. More free parking is available at the Parish House (65 South Street). You can also find paid parking in our neighboring parking garage: Headquarters Plaza Garage at 52 Headquarters Plaza.

10:00 am Service – The Sanctuary has two entrances on E. Park Place. One is on the left side, next to the Chapel, and another is on the right side, next to Howard House.

8:00 am Service – The Chapel has an entrance right on E. Park Place (front of the building).

Absolutely! The accessible entrance can be found, along with parking, at the rear of the Church.

Anyone and everyone! We love meeting new people and have a congregation of diverse backgrounds and interests.

Dress however you feel most comfortable. We have members who dress up a bit and members who wear jeans. Whatever works best for you!

Our worship is fairly traditional, in that it follows a standard Reformed liturgy, but people will tell you it doesn’t feel stuffy or formal. In addition to our choir, we often have special guest musicians and soloists to help lead our worship. We love to sing and have a great variety of classic hymns and newer songs.

Yes! We have a wonderful community that worships online every Sunday at 10:00 am. You can find more information here.

At this time, masks are optional on our campus. We have been keeping up with CDC recommendations, as well as recommendations from state and local health departments, and our safety policies may change as the situation calls for. We have been taking important steps to ensure the safety of all, including installing hand sanitizing stations, wearing masks when necessary, and expanding how we share the peace of Christ with one another to what individuals feel comfortable with.

How do I join PCM?

We’re here to guide you through this huge step and answer all of your questions (we promise – there’s no such thing as too many!). We’d love to learn a bit about you!

Are small Children Welcome in Worship?

Yes! God put the wiggle in children and we love to see it! But, if it makes for a less stressful worship experience for parents or grandparents (we get it!), there is free on-campus childcare during worship.

Is Childcare Available?

Yes! We provide free on-campus childcare for infants and children during the 10:00 am worship service.
