THE CHAPEL

A wonderful beginning (or continuation!) of your child’s spiritual growth. Each week we submerge into our faith journey through community, teaching, and discussion. We strive to ensure our lessons are relevant, meaningful, and provide a way to connect children to the Word of God.

Join us Wednesdays for fun, fellowship, music, and crafts. A great way to break up the week and cultivate your child’s connection to God and fellow Sunday School friends. You have the option to stay for our All-Church Dinner afterwards!

Nursery School

The primary goal of our Nursery School is to serve children and families by offering a nurturing and stimulating atmosphere for young children. We offer the children an opportunity for emotional, physical, intellectual, social and spiritual development in a Christian environment.

Everest: Conquering Challenges with God’s Mighty Power

We begin our day at Base Camp as we gather and hear what our day will look like. We then rotate through our activities which include our story in Bible Expeditions, Glacier Games on the front lawn, Mountain Top treats for snack, Science experiments at Imagination Station, Celebrate with songs and dance moves in music, and create snowy art projects in our craft time. We finish our day with a Summit Celebration and a song. Contact Alexandra with any questions.

Bel Melodia Singers and Ringers | K – 2ND grade

This is our youngest ensemble, which rehearses during the Midweek program on Wednesday afternoons in the Parish House. K – 2nd graders experience music through the use of games, movement, voices and instruments. We work on pitch matching, rhythmic concepts, basic service music, and simple hymns. Most of all, we have fun! Bel Melodia sings in our worship services 4-5 times a year and provides music for our Christmas pageant.

Bel Canto Singers and Ringers | 3RD – 5TH Grade

This choir continues the groundwork laid in Bel Melodia. We learn the fundamentals of voice production, proper breathing, and vocal techniques. Students begin to read both vocal and handbell music. We continue to improve rhythmic skills, coordination, and teamwork. We begin the development of worship leadership, and of course, have fun! This choir rehearses during the Midweek program on Wednesdays in the Parish House. Bel Canto sings in our worship services 4-5 times a year and provides music for our Christmas pageant!

Sunday School Music | AgeS 2 – 5th grade

Children through fifth grade enjoy music as part of their Sunday School class. They will learn songs and hymns to share at worship services.

Children’s music programs are led by Ignacio Angulo-Pizarro (Mr. A-P), Director of Children’s Music.
