Saturday, September 21 | 9:00 am | Natirar Park Trail

This trail passes along the scenic North Branch of the Raritan River corridor in Peapack-Gladstone, through beautiful wooded areas and across fields and meadows. It is great for bird watching and is an easy trail.

Saturday, October 5 | 9:00 am | Frelinghuysen Arboretum
(353 East Hanover Avenue, Morristown)

The sprawling Frelinghuysen Arboretum occupies the site of the former Whippany estate, purchased by the noted 19th-century patent attorney of America, George Griswold Frelinghuysen. Enveloping an imposing Colonial Revival structure, the arboretum is home to large expanses of meadows, woodlands and some rare collections of shrubs and trees. Cherries, crab apples, beeches and magnolia are some of the trees planted here, while seasonal plants like Flowering Bulbs, Maple plantations and Witch-hazels also flourish in different seasons. We will start at the Arboretum and walk to Acorn Hall and then back again, finishing at the Arboretum.
