The Values That define us
Lent invites us to slow down and pay attention, to God, to one another, and to the values shaping our life of faith. This year, we are centering our Lenten journey on the shared values that define us as a congregation: Humility, Compassion, Connection, Service, and Inclusion — all grounded in our call to Love First.
Throughout this season, we invite you to spend time with us in reflection, prayer, and learning. Our Lenten devotional, written by members of Session as they conclude their terms of service, offers honest and hopeful reflections on how faith is formed over time through leadership, community, and trust in God. Each day includes space not only to read, but to pause, write, and notice where God is at work in your own life.
These values will also guide our gatherings, conversations, and adult education offerings throughout Lent. Together, we will explore Scripture, engage thoughtful dialogue, and reflect on our shared story and future as a church. Whether you are seeking grounding, growth, or connection, there is space for you here.
