In the past three weeks, Hurricanes Helene and Milton devastated parts of the southeastern United States killing over 200 people, displacing residents, and destroying homes, roads, water and power infrastructure, and livelihoods. It will take months to years for affected communities to recover. Your financial donation will help people rebuild their lives by providing desperately needed clean up materials, water, food, fuel, and other assistance.
Donations will be divided between two organizations:
- Black Mountain Presbyterian Church which is near Asheville, North Carolina, an area devastated by the Helene. Black Mountain Church is feeding 800 to 1,000 people each day and serving as a distribution point for supplies to their community. Rev. Daniel has friends at this church and recommended them.
- Presbyterian Disaster Assistance. PDA is part of a large and dedicated community of disaster response organizations. PDA is providing relief to victims of Helene and will be there for people affected by Milton as well.
