Mother's Day Blanket

Mother’s Day Blanket Sunday Is Back!

For decades Presbyterian Women has sponsored Mother’s Day Blanket Sunday, as a way to honor our mothers and at the same time give a kind, loving and tangible response to someone facing a difficult time, reminding them that they are not alone. In 2022 41,845 blankets were distributed around the globe by Church World Service. These blankets serve as a source of warmth and comfort to people who are homeless or displaced, reminding them that they are part of our community and are loved.

Envelopes and cards will be available in the pews and in the Narthex on Mother’s Day so that you can be part of this extraordinary way to honor mothers everywhere. For just $10 you can provide a family not only with a blanket, but also with hope.
