Morris County Hiking Group
Dust off your hiking boots and grab your water bottle to join our monthly hiking group! All hikes are easy to execute and need no experience – just a love of the outdoors. Kitchell Pond-Loantaka Trail, 75 Kitchell Rd, Morristown
We will meet at the parking lot (75 Kitchell Rd, Morristown): This hike features beautiful pond and forest views, a combination of paved and unpaved trails through the woods. This is an easy 2.25 -3 mile hike depending on which options we choose, flat terrain accessible by walking, biking, and with horse paths here and there. There is a lovely picnic area by the pond which can be rented for the occasion through the Morris County park Commission.
