The Mutch Society consists of individuals who have included the Presbyterian Church in Morristown in their estate planning as a beneficiary of bequests and other deferred gifts. Gifts from Mutch Members are the primary means of increasing the church’s endowment fund, which over the years has been instrumental in providing income for operating expenses, outreach programs, and capital improvements.
Express Gratitude
When the Mutch Society was formed in 1982 for the purposes off honoring Tom and Mildred Mutch and to encourage deferred giving, it gave those of us who had been inspired, encouraged, and cared for during their long ministry an opportunity to express our gratitude. Today there are fewer members who remember and were touched by the lives of Dr. and Mrs. Mutch, but the purpose for which The Mutch Society was formed has become increasingly vital. It gives me great pleasure to know that my deferred gift to the endowment fund of the Presbyterian Church in Morristown, along with the gift of so many of our members, will further the work of the church for generations to come.

Impact the Future
Our church has always “been there” for me and my family. Most importantly, it has provided a powerful spiritual base for my life. It has “been there” for so many family events, weddings, baptisms, confirmations, and funerals. We’ve experienced the overwhelming compassion and fellowship of our congregation and drawn immense strength from it. My hope is that our church will continue to “be there” for years to come for all who come. Our support of the Mutch Society will help to make this a reality. What greater privilege and joy is there than to leave something of value to those who follow us.
