A Gathering for Youth Ministry

Youth leaders and supporters from the Presbytery of the Highlands met this past Sunday at Camp Johnsonburg to dream about new ways for our middle and high school students to become better connected to their church and community. The group spent their time discussing teaching resources, fresh ideas for engaging youth, and how to create spaces that are inclusive for all students.

The Young Leader Formation committee of the Presbytery of the Highlands hosted the retreat. Our Youth and Young Adult Director, Patrick Allred, serves on this committee and is grateful for the opportunity to help and work alongside those who serve adolescents in the church.
