The Martin Luther King Observance Committee (MLKOC) invites you to join them in commemorating the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. The MLKOC is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose mission is “to educate, inspire, and motivate people of all races, religions, ethnicities, social and economic classes, political affiliations, ages, and genders to embrace the dream of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. for a ‘beloved community’ that seeks social justice, equality in education, employment and housing, personal freedom, peace and harmony among all people.”
To affect their mission, MLKOC has chosen to emphasize the distribution of scholarships to graduating high school seniors and matriculated students continuing their education. They are committed to identifying talented young men and women who are embracing the ideals and principles of Dr. Martin Luther King as they pursue their educational and professional aspirations.
