Serve Saturday
Serve Saturday is one of our favorite mornings of the year—when neighbors of all ages come together to make a tangible difference right here in Morristown. The day begins with breakfast and fellowship at 8:15 am, followed by volunteers heading out across town to participate in simultaneous service projects from 9:00–12:00 pm.
Last year, more than 100 volunteers rolled up their sleeves and completed 13 different projects, including park and neighborhood clean-ups, nursery school refreshes, cooking meals for our food-insecure neighbors, planting and landscaping projects, sorting and organizing clothing donations, and meaningful visits with local seniors. The impact was felt across the community, and so was the joy.
Whether you’re a seasoned volunteer or trying service for the very first time, Serve Saturday has a place for you. Projects are designed for a wide range of interests and abilities, and we proudly welcome all ages to participate. Come on your own, bring a friend, or make it a family morning of giving back.
Join us this year as we gather, serve, and show up for Morristown—together.
