September 11 Service of Hope and Remembrance
Join us at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in Morristown for a special Service of Hope and Remembrance as we mark the 25th anniversary of September 11.
The congregations of St. Peter’s, Morristown United Methodist Church, and The Presbyterian Church in Morristown will pause to honor the lives lost, remember the courage of first responders and everyday heroes, and reflect on the ways our communities were forever changed. Through prayer, music, scripture, and shared remembrance, we will give thanks for the resilience, compassion, and unity that emerged in the face of tragedy.
Whether you carry personal memories of that day or wish to join in honoring its legacy, all are welcome. Come as we remember, grieve, give thanks, and find hope together.
Date: Friday, September 11
Time: 12:15 pm
Location: St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, 70 Maple Ave, Morristown
May we never forget those we lost, and may we continue to be inspired by the strength, service, and humanity that shone through one of our nation’s darkest days.
