The Values That define us

Lent invites us to slow down and pay attention, to God, to one another, and to the values shaping our life of faith. This year, we are centering our Lenten journey on the shared values that define us as a congregation: Humility, Compassion, Connection, Service, and Inclusion — all grounded in our call to Love First.

Throughout this season, we invite you to spend time with us in reflection, prayer, and learning. Our Lenten devotional, written by members of Session as they conclude their terms of service, offers honest and hopeful reflections on how faith is formed over time through leadership, community, and trust in God. Each day includes space not only to read, but to pause, write, and notice where God is at work in your own life.

These values will also guide our gatherings, conversations, and adult education offerings throughout Lent. Together, we will explore Scripture, engage thoughtful dialogue, and reflect on our shared story and future as a church. Whether you are seeking grounding, growth, or connection, there is space for you here.

For surely I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord, plans for your welfare and not for harm, to give you a future with hope.

Lenten
Bible Study

Wednesdays | February 25–March 25 | 10:00 am | Parish House or Online

Join us on Wednesday mornings during Lent for a five-week Bible study rooted in our 2026 Lenten Devotional: Values That Define Us.

Each week, we’ll slow down together to reflect on the theme introduced the previous Sunday, allowing space for deeper conversation, Scripture engagement, and shared reflection. Over the course of Lent, we’ll explore the values shaping our life together: Humility, Compassion, Connection, Service, and Inclusion and consider how these values are lived out in our faith, our relationships, and our everyday lives. This study is designed to be accessible, thoughtful, and grounding, whether you’re new to Bible study or reading the Bible your whole life. Come as you are, and join us as we listen for what God is forming in us this Lenten season.
